…All in a Hot and Copper Sky (2025)
for piano, 9’
Written in collaboration with pianist Katherine Wenyi Xiong, “…All in a Hot and Copper Sky” is a volatile and intense piece. The inspiration for this piece is taken from lines in the poem “The Rhime of the Ancient Mariner” where the author is describing the burning sun overhead while stranded at sea.
