Fireworks (2025)
for orchestra, 7’
“Fireworks” began as an orchestration assignment at NYU to be read and recorded with the Budapest Symphony. Initially only two minutes, the piece was expanded to a duration of just over seven minutes. Submitted for the 2025 season of the Mostly Modern Festival, “Fireworks” was selected to be performed by the Mostly Modern Orchestra and received its premiere in June 2025. Ripping at the seams with energy, it is an absolute blast!
Sure on this Shining Night (2025)
for concert band, 5’
“Sure on this Shining Night” is an arrangement of the well-known Samuel Barber song by the same name. This piece was commissioned by the Cypress Winds and received its premiere in March 2025.
D’un matin de printemps (2025)
for concert band, 5’
A personal project for me, “D’un matin de printemps” is an arrangement of Lili Boulanger’s beautiful orchestral work.
Starry Night (2024)
for orchestra and concert band, 11’
“Starry Night” is one of my most cherished pieces. Originally written in 2023 during my gap year after undergrad for concert band, it received its premiere in December 2023. Following the premiere, an orchestral version was made in 2024 and was the runner-up in NYU’s orchestral competition. A reading by the NYU Symphony Orchestra was done in May 2025.
The Walk to the Paradise Garden (2024)
for concert band, 8’
Frederick Delius’ gorgeous “The Walk to the Paradise Garden” arranged for concert band.
Road to the Sun (2023)
for concert band, ‘6
“Road to the Sun” was originally written in 2021 and was a major milestone in my career even if it seemed insignificant at the time. The work was a huge stylistic shift for me but unfortunately sat in my files until it was asked to be performed with the TMEA Region IX Symphonic Band, where it was heavily revised in 2023. It was my first public performance as a composer and it has always seemed to delight those who hear it so it will always have a soft spot in my heart.
